Cheap Books

Here is a compilation of places that sell textbooks for reasonable prices:

1. Better World Books: This site not only provides books for a fraction of the price you would see in a college bookstore, but it also has free shipping in the USA ($3.97 Worldwide) and it raises funds for global literacy!
2. Ebay: Ebay is a favorite of mine - it's also best to buy the book from a local seller (chances are better that the seller may have taken the same class at the same college...chances are also better in general, because local transactions have better success rates against scams or getting the wrong book).
3. Craigslist: Similar to Ebay, but not as easy to find what you're looking for...

And if you're in St. Louis, Missouri and prefer a brick-and-mortar place of business that sells affordable books, try The TextbookGame, which is located at 3855 Lindell St. (If you are a Mizzou student, you will be happy to know that they have a Columbia, MO location as well)
